| Because I'm down with the rock and roll. I suggest Monster Magnet. They would have those woods groovin' and rockin' in outer space. |

Wow, I haven't heard MM in about 10 years. Are they even still touring? |

I saw Monster Magnet about 10 years ago, and it was one of the worst shows I've ever seen. _________________

| I've never seen them live, but definitely have a few albums in my collection. That said, this is one of the strangest BC requests I've seen yet |

I missed jc8 and therefore missed Maceo. I'd love it if he were added. Anyone think that's likely? _________________ When the world was flat as a pancake, Mona Lisa was happy as a clam. |

as always, stellar line-up paul. my suggestions would be the following:
the bridge- they never come to fl
tea leaf green- always good
chuck brown- the godfather of go-go would be perfect
antibalas- afro groove can never go wrong
moe.- is that asking too much?
assembly of dust- great sound
boombox- never seen em'
gogol bordello- great live band
hoots & hellmouth- one hell of a live band
mmw- anytime, anyplace
jurassic 5- great live hip-hop
ozomatli- great live
thank you for bringing us this incredible music each year & thanks for making bear creek a special event full of laughter, smiles & memories for a lifetime |

Digable Planets are not touring anymore. They were supposed to play in Chapel Hill last year and a week or so before the show Ladybug Mecca left the band and the show was canceled.
I fully support the Breakestra.
In terms of Hip Hop I would argue for:
The Roots - no better live Hip Hop out there, period!
Lyrics Born - would be really, really cool if he came with the Poets of Rhythm
Chali 2na - could perform with Breakestra
De La Soul - I heard they toured with a band last year? The show I saw was just the three of them, and it was so so. But I saw them before and really dug it.
Ugly Duckling - those guys are funny and bring a good live show
Abstract Rude & Tribe Unique - also one of the better live acts
US3 - never seen them live, but they would be awesome!
The Pharcyde
I vote against the Beatnuts - dig their albums but saw them live a year ago and left after about 45 minutes because I really could not take it anymore. Horrible sound, pretty much all they did was crowd control stuff. Micheal Franti times 10. |

Ween would be sweet.
I don't know why The Langerado folks could never get them but I know they tried. |

JUST PLEASE GIVE US SOME TRONICA IN THE AMPHITHEATER... THATS ALL I ASK
the tent was a long walk, very hot (maybe you can open another door on the opposite side of the entrance so it ventilates better...) |
