Hey everybody-
We are excited to announce that we will be adding a special Wednesday night Party in advance of the Pre-Party in advance of Bear Creek. Shucks, let's just say we are extending Bear Creek to include Wednesday, November 10. The line-up for this awesome night of music so far includes The Heavy Pets, Honey Island Swamp Band, Zoogma and Aquaphonics. Tickets will be $20 and this price will include all music, camping, taxes and fees. Only Thursday-Sunday ticket buyers are eligible to purchase the Wednesday night ticket. These tickets will become available on the web-site in the next day or so.
Enjoy the holiday weekend. |

Honey Island Swamp Band is bad ass. I was checking them out today and can't wait to see them. They have some soundboards up on archive. Check them out.

I would send e-mails to the band and tell them to hang for the weekend and play in a camp site.

Wednesday too WOW I may need to buy another cooler for food and drinks.
I guess ill be there early wednesday (more like leave Tuesday night when I get home from work)

At Wanee this year, we paid for our Wed. tix, but I don't recall being upcharged for my site. Don't know if this is the deal for BC or not though. |

We'd heard about Honey Island Swamp Band, but hadn't gotten down to NOLA to check them out yet. Then we finally got to see them at JazzFest and they just blew everyone away -- one of those bands where you go to the music tent right after seeing them for the first time and buy a bunch of their CDs!!
We also got to see them at Hangout Fest, and those guys KILLED IT again! Definitely the best set we saw that weekend 
Wish they were playing on the weekend too, but we're definitely getting there Wednesday to see them. Hands down the best band out of NOLA right now |

I AGREE! I really enjoy this band! They would be great on Jamcruise playing on a private island!
And I second the request to have them play another night besides Wed

Any idea when gates will open on Wednesday? The faq on the website only addresses Thursday.
