90% sure my buddies may be skipping out because the fest "will be too hot and buggy"...haha
Ive been a lurker on funknjam for a while but I do not post much.
I have been too all the bear creeks and this past wanee. I absolutely love the spirit of suwannee!
I am excited for blackwater and I hope I get to meet some chill, like-minded people (especially since going alone to this fest) |

Because I'm not sure if I'll be making it. I plan to, but things could change. My monther is not in good shape right now. To make a long story short, she is recovering from surgery and might have to do some intence Kemo. I won't know if I can make it until the treatment plan is decided.

talked to the darn pirate that snagged our sites. he is unwilling to part with the electric portion of c but understands that there is not much he can do about folks camping in the woods behind him.
so... that's it. We snoozed and lost our sites for blackwater.. thank god they let us have one of them of the three.
If you want to camp in the site b (and beyond ) woods you are more than welcome to. |

I'm seriously considering going to Atlanta instead.
Friday: Chromeo, Holy Ghost
Saturday: Disco Biscuits, STS9, Big Boi, Big Gigantic
Sunday: Disco Biscuits
As much as I've always wanted to see the Biscuits at SOSMP, the combination of price ($185 including fees at this point), timing/weather, and lackluster lineup (for my tastes) makes it hard for me to justify going to Blackwater. You all know that I'm a HUGE Bear Creek supporter, but this event is NO substitute for bringing the Disco Biscuits to the real party IMHO. Nothing is set in stone yet... just saying that I'm leaning very hard in another direction.

I would really like to see Holy Ghost and Chromeo, but I was thinking it would be great to go to Blackwater Thursday/Friday and Atl Sat/Sunday...how about those apples?
are their day passes, 2 day passes?
After bitching this much about get tDB to Suwannee, I'm surprised their aren't more fans on this board supporting this festival.
