It wasn't confirmed until I got a call from a friend at Bonnaroo who saw a flier for DOTF with Shak Nasti on it. And I'm 99% sure we will be playing sometime Friday. Glad to be representin' with BB and BS. Gruda's getting married on that Saturday, so kudos to Erica for letting us take her fiance. Guess we'll have to have the bachelor party in the woods! Hmmmmm...

I was actually The Master of Ceremonies and married a couple in those woods last year at Down On The Farm. Hmmm. Just an idea.

We are very excited to have Shak Nasti, Brother Bean and The Burnin' Smyrnans on the line-up for Down On the Farm 3. The folks on this board deserve alot of credit for being such passionate music fans and for supporting their own so selflessly. Your enthusiasm about them played a big role in our decision to invite these bands. ( The fact that they also play great music didn't hurt either. Very Happy )
Keep a look out for more great Florida and Funk n Jam bands to be added to the line-up in the near future.
The web-site should be updated and rolling in a day or so.
Congrats to all the bands.
Paul

Now all we need is Blu Sirkit and Greyboy Allstars and we'll be set! Maybe throw a little moe. in there for good measure?

The line up looks good. Lots of bands on there that I always forget about...Ralph Roddenberry Band, PBS, Dubconscious.
What really makes me smile is The Motet!!! I have been wanting to see these guys for a long long time. I hope that the Gods smile on us and we can make it to this one. It may be difficult since we're getting married the next weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed. Can you imagine the craziness that will ensue if there are TWO bachelor parties in the woods that Friday? JEBUS!!!

Of course...I can't forget the reason for this thread in the first place...SHAK NASTI!!!! It's gonna be ON!!!

This line up is great and it is just the beginning!

This is a festival that shouldn't be missed. Great music, friends, food, and it's held on a absolutley beautiful farm.

I wish I didn't have to wait so long, but it is worth every minute!
